TALCHER/KANIHA:NTPC Talcher Kaniha under its CSR initiative distributed school bags to promote and encourage education among the students of the nearby station peripheral schools recently.
During distribution of bags programme at Bijigol Nodal Upper Primary School, Shri K. S Sarma, AGM(HR) addressing the school children said “students should be motivated to pursue high education for building their career which can be possible through education imparted in schools”
PK. Sahu, DGM(HR), A. K. Das, Senior Manager(HR), M. V. Rao, Officer (HR) and headmaster & teachers of the school were present during the CSR programme. The bags were distributed in 12 UP Schools of nearby schools of NTPC Kaniha power station. The CSR initiative benefited 1250 students of upper primary schools.
