RANCHI: NTPC Swayamsiddha Ladies Club, Coal Mining Headquarters.Ranchi as part of CSR initiative on the importance of nutritious food, distributed essential food items at “Adim Jati Sewa Mandal” , Ranchi, a home for underprivileged tribal and specially challenged children. The initiative was undertaken under the guidance of Smt Rekha Jain, President, Swayamsiddha Ladies Club.
On the occasion Smt Jain shared that good nutrition is the basis of child survival, growth, and development. Due to malnutrition, children become deficient in vitamins and other essential micronutrients. Well-nourished children are better able to learn, play and participate in their communities. She interacted with the coordinator of the orphanage centre and enquired about the wellbeing facilities provided to the needy children.
The program was also graced by Vice Presidents, Smt Shikha Rastogi, Smt Purnima Shrikhande, General Secretary, Smt Mansa Verma, Joint Secretary Deepa Kumari, Treasurer Snigdha Rani Manjhi and Cultural Secretary Smt T Parameswari.
