NTPC Swayamsiddha Ladies Club organises anaemic cum general medical camp for specially challenged children in Ranchi

RANCHI/BHUBANESWAR: Swayamsiddha Ladies Club, NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters on Tuesday Ranchi organised a medical camp for children of St Michael Blind School, residential school for specially challenged children with visual impairment.

Smt. Padma Reddy, President, Swayamsiddha Ladies Club in her address to the children said Health is Wealth, children should take good care of themselves in view of seasonal changes especially during monsoon and stay healthy which is essential to pursue regular studies in school.

On this occasion, Dr Sukumar Reddy diagnosed the children with anaemia-haemoglobin test to check iron deficiency and general ailments i.e common cold, fever, cough & weakness. He provided medical advice to the ailments and prescribed medicines. Medicines like multi vitamin, iron syrup, pain relief and anti-fungal were distributed free of cost under the CSR initiative.

Members of Swayamsiddha Ladies Cub interacted & spent some quality time with the Visually Challenged Children of the school, the program was concluded by distribution of food items under its CSR initiative.The initiative of the Ladies club was appreciated by the Principal of the School, Smt. Sarita Talal & beneficiaries of the school. On this occasion, the Vice President of Ladies Club, Smt. Lakshmi Murthy, General secretary, Smt. M. S Ramya, Welfare Secretary, Smt Snigdha Majhi ,Treasurer Smt. Mansa Verma, Joint General Secretary Smt.Deepa,& Cultural Secretary ,Smt Parameswari were also present.
