RANCHI/BHUBANESWAR: Swayamsiddha Ladies Club, Coal Mining HQ, Ranchi distributed essential food items, utensils, crockeries, umbrellas, bedsheets, towels, fruits & toiletries with COVID essentials like masks and soaps to the residents of Old Age Home near Ormanjhi, located outskirts of Ranchi as part of CSR initiative on 20.07.2021.
On this occasion, Partha Mazumder,Regional Executive Director(Coal Mining) ,NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters & Mahua Mazumder, President, Swayamsiddha Ladies Club shared their happiness to be part of the noble initiative. Mazumder advised that in these testing times of pandemic, we should all be vigilant and alert and should follow COVID appropriate behaviour especially taking care of old age home people who are most vulnerable.
A medical check-up camp for inmates of old age was conducted on this occasion, under the guidance of Dr Kabibar Padhan,CMO and Dr P Sukumar Reddy ,Pakri Barwadih Coal Mining project. 40 people were medically examined with most people having age related problems like Joint pain, generalized weakness, anaemia & hypertension. Proper medical advice was given to the patients on staying fit and healthy in this age and taking due precaution to stay away from Covid 19. Free Medicines were also given to the inmates of the Old Age Home.
The CSR initiative by the Ladies club was appreciated by coordinator and beneficiaries of the old age home. The whole initiative was carried out under the inspiration and guidance of Partha Mazumder,Regional Executive Director(Coal Mining) ,NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters & Smt Mahua Mazumder, President, Swayamsiddha Ladies Club.
On this occasion Saongouri Dutta, General Secretary, Gangotri Das, Treasurer and Reshma Behera, Cultural Secretary were present from Swayamsiddha Ladies Club. On this occasion Wilson Abraham,AGM(HR) , Tanmoy Dutta ,DGM(HR) and Amit Kumar Behera ,Senior Manager(Corporate Communication) were also present.
