RANCHI/BHUBANESWAR: In view of COVID pandemic and ongoing Jan Andolan public Campaign by Government of India. The campaign aims to encourage People’s Participation on following three key Messages on ‘Wear Mask, Follow Physical Distancing, Maintain Hand Hygiene. NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters under its COVID prevention and CSR initiative distributed N 95 mask, hand sanitisers and winter blankets among senior citizens of Onkar Old Age ,Palu located at the outskirts of Ranchi.
The distribution was done by Tanmoy Dutta, DGM(HR) and Amit Kumar Behera, Senior Manager (Corporate Communication) of NTPC CMHQ. The Old Age Home inmates expressed their happiness and thanked NTPC for the modest gesture. The old age home is the shelter for old poor orphan people. At present old age is providing support to 22 inmates.
