NTPC Coal Mining HQ celebrates “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign with Patriotic Fervour

RANCHI/BHUBANESWAR: As part of Govt of India ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign under the aegis of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav to encourage people to bring the Tiranga home and to hoist it from August 13 to 15,2002 to mark the 75th year of India’s independence.

NTPC Coal Mining headquarters in association with its Employees Welfare Association distributed around 400 no.s of Indian Flags to local community to celebrate 75 years of Indian Independence and “Har Ghar Tiranga” campaign.

The program was organised on August 13, 2022 under the able guidance of Shri Partha Mazumder, Regional Executive Director (Coal Mining).

Shri Mazumder participated in the distribution of Indian flags organized at Coal Mining HQ premises, on the occasion he distributed “Tiranga” to the general public constituting senior citizens, men, women, vendors & school children etc. in the august presence of Shri Wilson Abharam and Shri Amarendra Kumar, AGM(Finance).

Employees of NTPC Coal Mining Headquarters took active participation in hoisting the India flags at their respective homes to commemorate the “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. Further employees have registered on www.harghartiranga.com to pin the Indian Flag with Selfie pictures to celebrate the “Har Ghar Tiranga” spirit.

The idea behind the initiative is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of the people to remember the contribution made by our freedom fighters for India’s Independence and to promote awareness about the Indian National Flag.
