Normal life hit as cold wave continues in Odisha

BHUBANESWAR: From early morning to late night, cold wave. No respite since past few days.

Intense cold wave conditions have thrown normal life out of gear in many parts of Odisha. The regional weather office has predicted that such conditions would prevail for the next two to three days.

The interior and western parts of the State have recorded temperatures below 10 degrees Celsius. The temperatures in the coastal areas have also registered a drop by a few points.

Sundargarh registered a minimum temperature of 7 degrees Celsius and Bhubaneswar 12.6 degrees on Sunday, IMD office said.

The chilly accompanied with foggy conditions have been prevailing till 10-11 am, leaving people shivering in spine-chilling cold.
