BHUBANESWAR: Just a day before the second phase polling in Odisha , BJD Nimapara MLA in Puri district, on Sunday left the Naveen Patnaik led Regional Party after he was denied a Party ticket to fight the on-going Assembly polls, which is being held simultaneously along with Lok Sabha Polls.
Dash sent his resignation letter to BJD Supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
“The leadership of the Biju Janata Dal has lost confidence on me and the party organisations in Gop and Nimapara .Therefore, I today resigned from the primary membership of the BJD,’ Dash said
