BHUBANESWAR: The NDA coalition in Bihar has gained the trust of the people with development and good governance, Union Education Minister and Bihar Election In-charge Shri Dharmendra Pradhan said on Tuesday while addressing an important press conference ahead of the first phase of voting in Bihar Assembly Elections-2025 in Patna today.

Shri Pradhan said that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the guidance of Bihar Chief Minister Shri Nitish Kumar, a strong, organized, positive and people-oriented election campaign is underway. On one hand, the NDA alliance has emerged as a symbol of trust among the people with its strong track record of development, good governance and stability. The alliance has moved forward with the vision of ‘Developed Bihar’. On the other hand, the direction and purpose of the grand alliance are both unclear. The people of Bihar know very well the truth of those who are inspired by false promises and the misrule of ‘Jungle Raj’. Such people can never do good to Bihar.

He called the NDA resolution a blueprint for a ‘developed Bihar’ of the 21st century. The blueprint aims to build a Bihar that will move forward rapidly in the direction of new economy, agriculture, employment, education and health and self-reliance. The NDA resolution proposes to provide government jobs and employment opportunities to more than 1 crore youth, guarantee of MSP on all crops for the breadwinners and increase the amount of Kisan Samman Nidhi from Rs 6,000 to Rs 9,000.

Apart from this, the resolution also mentions the goal of constructing 5 lakh new pucca houses and creating 1 crore ‘Lakshapati Didi’. In the education sector, there is a plan to renovate major schools in the district with a budget of Rs 5,000 crore. In the religious and infrastructure development sector, there is a plan to develop the birthplace of Mata Janaki as a world-class spiritual city ‘Sitapuram’. The manifesto also includes many multi-faceted resolutions like international airports at Patna, Darbhanga, Purnia and Bhagalpur and metro projects in four new cities. Shri Pradhan opined that these resolutions guarantee empowerment of farmers, protection of interests of poor and backward classes, bright future of youth, safety and dignity of women and above all, all-round development of Bihar.

The Union Minister finally appealed to the people of Bihar to participate in large numbers in this grand festival of democracy. He appealed to the voters to exercise their franchise 100% and strengthen this campaign of development, good governance and stability.
