BHUBANESWAR: Nayapalli PS Case No-24, dtd.17.01.2024, U/s-21(b) NDPS Act. PO: Kasturaba School Bus Stop, Nayapalli, Bhubaneswar UPD.
Gist of the Case:
On dt.17.01.2024 at 07.09 AM information received regarding transportation of WINCEREX cough syrup bottles by two persons namely Jagan @ Jagannath Jena of Gadakana, Mancheswar and Anchu Anil Kumar Nayak of Saliasahi in Jari Basta through Bus from Kolkata to Bhubaneswar and waited at Kasturaba School Bus Stop for transporting the same to different areas.
SI Subhransu Mohapatra along with team conducted raid at Kasturaba School Bus Stop and could able to apprehend the accused persons namely Jagan @ Jagannath Jena and Anchu @ Anil Kumar Nayak.
They seized 1680 bottles of WINCEREX cough syrup from the exclusive and conscious possessions of the accused persons.The above noted accused persons were arrested and forwarded to the court today.Further investigation is going on.
Name and Address of the Accused persons: Jagan aka Jagannath Jena (47), S/o-Bhaskar Jena, At-Bhaincho, PS- Ersama, Dist Jagatsinghpur, At/p AT MAhima Nagar, Gadakana, PS- Mancheswar, Bhubaneswar UPD and Anchu aka Anil Kumar Nayak (25), S/o- Purna Chandra Nayak, At -Tikatal, PS-Begunia, Dist- Khurda, At/pr- Ekamra Park Basti, Saliasahi, PS- Maitree Vihar, Bhubaneswar UPD.
Article Seized: 1680 bottles of WINCEREX cough syrup, each bottle containing 100 ml, total 168 Liters.
