Naveen plays ‘Balancing Act’ in choosing District Chiefs

BHUBANESWAR: The month long organisational polls of ruling BJD was on Friday saw results with the regional party naming chiefs of 33 organisational districts. The list seems speaking clearly that the party boss and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik maintained a fine balance in selecting District Presidents.

As per a press statement issued by Pratap Keshari Deb, Party’s State Returning Officer and 4th times AUL MLA, Bhubaneswar Central MLA Ananta Narayan Jena was named as the chief of the party wing in Bhubaneswar while Debasish Samantaray-Cuttack, Maheswar Mohanty-Puri  Rabindra Jena-Balasore, Utkal Keshari Parida for Kendrapara.

Mahendra Bastia for Angul, Bijay Ranjan Singh Bariha for Bargarh, Jagannath Swain-Bhadrak, Tukuni Sahoo -Bolangir.

Similarly, Boudh-Mahidhar Rana, Deogarh-RR Biswal, Dhenkanal-Prafulla Mallick, Gajapati-Pradip Nayak, Jagatsinghpur-Prasant Muduli.

Jajpur-Saroj Patra, Jharsuguda-Kishore Mohanty, Kalahandi-Puspendra Singh Deo, Kandhamal-SK Karna.

Keonjhar-Madhab Sardar, Khorda-BB Balabantaray, Koraput-Iswar Panigrahi, Malkangiri-PC Baka, Mayurbhanj Sadar-Sudam Marandi, Mayurbhanj-Kashinath Hembrum.

Nabarangpur-RC Majhi, Nayagarh-Ramesh Behera, Nuapada-Manoj Mishra, Rayagada-Sudhir Das, Rourkela-Sarada Nayak, Sambalpur-Sidharth Das, Subarnapur-Saroj Kampa and Sundargarh-Binay Toppo.
