BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s popularity seems finding no blockade with first round of counting for votes of the 5 phases State Panchayat and Zilla Parishad polls, giving a landslide victory for the ruling party.
Of the 851 Zilla Parishad zones, counting is going on in 315 Zilla Paarishad zones. Till last reports came in from the office of State Election Commission, BJD is leading in 246 while BJP in 31 and Congress in 13 with others in 5 zones.
