BHUBANESWAR: Apart from being one of the longest serving Chief Minister of any Indian State and longest ever for Odisha, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who did his Graduation in Ancient History, from St Stephen’s College under Delhi University, seems, possesses good command over history and renaissance.
A video shared by Chief Minister Patnaik’s Secretary (5T), VK Pandian, speaks a lot of volume about the issue. In this video, a historian was seen saying about Patnaik’s acumen over Rome history and he admitted he never faced such type learned person having some much knowledge on Rome history and renaissance. This video went viral in social media sites. “I am an art historian and i work as a guide for clients in Rome and it’s been an honour for me to take your Chief Minister around,” the guide said in this video message. “He’s an incredible educated man and the level of understanding and knowledge he has, of ancient Rome and Renaissance culture is astounding,” the guide said.
When the guide got guided by Chief Minister Patnaik, it had surprised many at the venue. Sources said, this art historian took the Chief Minister on a guide tour in Rome. And he got floored by Chief Minister Patnaik’s knowledge about Rome’s ancient history. ‘I don’t think, I’ve ever encountered it in a client!,” he added.
