BHUBANESWAR/NEW DELHI: Rani Rampal, who now heads, Indian National Women’s Hockey Team, has her all praise for sports loving Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. In a tweet on Wednesday, Rampal said “It was very inspiring to see Honourable CM supported and motivated us during his meeting with our team. His enthusiasm towards sports is incredible and his love for hockey means the world to us.Thank you sir for everything,”

Few days back, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik flanked by 5T Secretary, VK Pandian, had reviewed first indoor athletic stadium project progress and inspected the work site and had an interactions with hockey players, both women and men’s team.
The Chief Minister had also visited the Tennis Centre project. The Centre court of the Tennis Centre is being constructed for hosting the National and international events. The center will have all facilities to conduct the ITF tournaments, Davis Cup.
“This indoor athletic facility will be a major boost for the development of athletics in India and will become a hub to create champions in coming years,” CM Patnaik had said.
