KENDRAPARA/BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister and BJD Supremo Naveen Patnaik along with his most trusted lieutenant VK Pandian on Monday launched a joint attack BJP National Vice President and Party’s Kendrapara Lok Sabha candidate, Baijayant Jay Panda.
Addressing a massive election meeting in Kendrapara, both Patnaik and Pandian took on BJP leader Baijayant Panda and alleged that he is only engaged to expand his family business not worry for Kendrapara’s development.
“ I sent one MP for 10 years from Kendrapara but he did nothing only engaged in expanding his own business and own company’s profit,” Patnaik said amid presence of BJD MP candidate Anshuman Mohanty, MLA candidates Pratap Deb(Aul), Atanu Sabhasachi Nayak(Mahakalpada), Arbinda Mohapatra(Patkura), Dhurba Sahoo(Rajnagar), Ganeswar Behera(Kendrapara), Ankit Pratap Jena(Mahanga), Prasant Behera(Salepur) , BJD observers Pratap Jena, Ranedra Pratap Swain and others.
VK Pandian in his address highlighted how Chief Minister had shown his interest during his Japan visit for Kendrapara Steel plant and travelled in an economy class for 8 hours from Singapore to Tokyo. ‘No outside impact will work in Kendrapara,” Pandian said. CM Patnaik raised Kendrapara’s name during his 3 days stay in Japan as he was on deep sorrow for one of the former MP’s inability. Rs 1 Lakh Crore investment will be made in Kendrapara, Pandian said. Pandian that BJP leader Panda increased his company business after he became BJD MP in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
He also highlighted how Baijayant Panda expanded his business after became BJD MP in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. Pandian alleged that Panda always spread lies about Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s health. Pandian said, CM will take oath on June 9. Pandian also revealed why Naveen Patnaik had not allowed Bajjayant Panda to become member in Lok Sabha finance Committee. ‘He was aiming to become Chief Minister and for which he is spreading lies against Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik,” Pandian said. Like Biju Babu, Naveen Babu too considering Kendrapara as their Karmabhoomi.
