BHUBANESWAR: With COVID-19 continued to give sleepless nights to Naveen Patnaik led BJD Government here, some Big Industrial house working in mineral and coal rich Odisha including Tata Steel, Jindal Steel and Power Limited, Vedanta Ltd, JSW Steel Ltd, JSL, IMFA Ltd, Grasim Industries Ltd, Dalmia Cement Ltd, Hindalco, L&T Cement, ACC Cement have been requested by the State Government to set up COVID-19 Care Centers.
Besides, Odisha Industry Secretary Hemanta Sharma too written to NALCO, MCL, RSP, IOCL, IFFCO, HAL, RBI, STPI, NLC, PPL, IPICOL, OMC, OPTCL, OHPC, IDCOL, GRIDCO and others for creating own facilities to take care of COVID-19 Positive Cases.
Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy held a meeting in this regard through a video meet and discussed the issue at length. Chief Secretary Tripathy briefed these organizations about the steps taken by the State Government to control COVID-19 with upgraded infrastructure.
