BHAWANIPATNA/BHUBANESWAR: BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda on Friday alleged that alleged that 50 percent PC culture is rampant in Odisha. “This is a government of commission where 50 percent commission is being taken away in every work and nobody knows where this 50 percent commission goes?” Nadda said addressing a public meeting Kalahandi district.
Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Bisheswar Tudu, BJP National VP in charge of Assam and Delhi, Baijayant Jay Panda, State President Manmohan Samal, Sundargarh MP, Jual Oram, Kalahandi MP Basant Panda, Balangir MP Sangeeta Singh Deo, former Minister KV Singh Deo, senior MLA Pradipta Naik and others were among those present.
Nadda questioned who is ruling Odisha? whether a politician or a bureaucrat? Even MLAs and MPs from BJD party have any power and nobody is listening to them. What kind of government is it?, he asked. “Naveen Patnaik has sublet everything to officers. The total administration has been outsourced here,” said Nadda without naming anybody.
“You(people) have given votes to someone while some other one is ruling the State. Do you want this type of government to run the State?,” he asked the people.
Nadda said there has been massive corruption in the selection of beneficiaries in the PM Aawas Yojana in Odisha, the BJP President said, “Ineligible persons are getting houses. There will be a probe. I will speak to Union Minister Giriraj Singh. Those involved in the scam will be put behind bars” he said.
The Naveen Patnaik Government doesn’t want the Ayushman Bharat benefits to reach the people of the State, alleged Nadda.
, Modi government is providing free foodgrains and ration to 3.5 crore people, he said, adding, “During last 23 years of government, Naveen Babu has taken Odisha to such a lower level. The per capita income and farmers’ income in Odisha lowest in the country while it tops in incidents of crime against women.”
