BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, known for his courteousness and civility, once again on Saturday got emotional while see off President Droupadi Murmu at Biju Patnaik International Airport. Chief Minister Patnaik and President Murmu shared brother sister relationship since the Presidential polls.
President Murmu was seen talking patiently with Chief Minister Patanik at the Airport, where Governor Prof Ganeshi Lal and others were present to see off President. Chief Minister Patnaik also shared some lighter moments with President and got emotional as Murmu boards the Special Flight.
President Murmu returned to New Delhi after completing her 2-days Odisha visit.
Before leaving for New Delhi, President Droupadi Murmu graced the 2nd Indian Rice Congress at ICAR-National Rice Research Institute in Cuttack on Saturday.
President Murmu attended the function along with Governor of Odisha, Prof Ganeshi Lal and Union Agriculture Minister Narendra Singh Tomar and Odisha , State Agriculture Minister Ranedra Pratap Swain. Earlier, she offered prayers at Lord Lingaraj Temple in Bhubaneswar.
