BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik presented Shree Mandir Heritage Corridor scheme for the people of the State in the Assembly on Saturday. He expressed heartfelt thanks to all who helped in finalizing the plan and said it is our responsibility that the devotees return with divine experience.
“Sri Jagannath is the biggest identity of Odia race. Our history, culture, tradition and our faith are all built centered on the Lord. He is the symbol of Odia Asmita. I feel proud to present ‘Srimandir Parikrama Yojana’ for the people of Odisha in the assembly,” an emotional Naveen Patnaik said.
“Under the leadership of Gajapati Maharaja, the Srimandir administration has prepared this. I thank Gajapati Maharaj from my heart for this great work. This scheme is the own plan of four and a half crore people of Odisha. Thank you to everyone who helped make this the final.
This is a historical moment for the Odia community as well as for all of us. Opportunities like this come very few. It is our fortune that he has given us the opportunity to develop the Dham of the Lord in our time. All of us, the people of Odisha together have become a part of this unique moment,” the art and culture loving CM said.
For the pride of Odia, the Lord who came out on the Kanchi Abhiyan one day, for the sake of the honor of the devotees, the Lord who left Nandighosh and won the sand chariot, in the service of Lord Jagannath, if we can contribute anything in the development of his religion, then it will be our best fortune as an Odia. He has given importance on completing the Shrimandir Historical Corridor scheme soon and creating opportunity for every Odia and Jagannath lover to contribute in this work. If we can contribute anything in the development of Lord’s Dham, that will be our best fortune, he said.
After discussing with everyone, this plan prepared by the temple administration under the leadership of Gajapati Maharaj is the own plan of four and a half crore Odias. He mentioned on this occasion that we all, the people of Odisha together have become a part of this unique moment.
