BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, former Union Minister and Hotelier, Dilip Ray, and Kendrapara Lok Sabha MP Anubhav Mohanty on Friday paid their rich tribute to great and Tall Man Biju Patnaik on his birth anniversary.
“ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସ୍ଵାଭିମାନର ପ୍ରତୀକ, ମହାନ ଜନନାୟକ ତଥା ପୂର୍ବତନ ମୁଖ୍ୟମନ୍ତ୍ରୀ ବିଜୁ ବାବୁଙ୍କ ଜୟନ୍ତୀରେ ମୋର ବିନମ୍ର ଶ୍ରଦ୍ଧାଞ୍ଜଳି। ଓଡ଼ିଶାକୁ ଅଗ୍ରଣୀ ରାଜ୍ୟରେ ପରିଣତ କରିବା ସହ ଲୋକଙ୍କ ସେବାରେ ସେ ନିଜ ଜୀବନ ଉତ୍ସର୍ଗ କରିଥିଲେ। ତାଙ୍କ ଓଡ଼ିଆ ସ୍ଵାଭିମାନ ଓ ନୀତିଆଦର୍ଶକୁ ପାଥେୟ କରି ନୂଆ ଓଡ଼ିଶା ଗଠନ ଦିଗରେ ଆମେ ସଙ୍କଳ୍ପବଦ୍ଧ।,” Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik tweeted @Naveen_Odisha

His stature was more than just physical. Such was his magnanimous presence that not a soul dared defy him,” MP Anubhav Mohanty tweeted @AnubhavMohanty_.
“His principles of life and politics are hard to come by but easy to instill. Every Odia must remember the Tall Man who dared to put Odisha on the global map. It is only befitting that such a glorious Bhumi Putra be awarded his due recognition by the government of India.We demand #BharatRatnaForBijuBabu. He is an icon that is equally revered across party lines. His contributions constitute a memorable chapter in the history of India. It is my humble appeal to everyone, to amplify and help us in our long-standing demand of #BharatRatnaForBijuBabu,” the Kendrapara Lok Sabha MP, Mohanty added.
