BHUBANESWAR: In a bid to fight back the onslaught of cyclone , the Naveen Patnaik Government in Odisha was on Monday deputed 8 senior IAS and IPS officers to man the possible hit districts of Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur.
Senior IAS officers Madhu Sudan Padhi, Sushil Kumar Lohani , Hemant Sharma and Saswat Mishra to man Balasore, Bhadrak, Kendrapara and Jagatsinghpur respectively.
Meanwhile, the State Government also deputed senior IPS officer, Diptesh Patnaik for Balasore, Ghanshyam Upadhaya for Bhadrak, Asish Singh for Kendrapara and JN Pankaj for Jagatsinghpur.
State Government has decided that all the Departments and Sub Ordinate Offices shall resume fully and Government employees will attend office from tomorrow i.e. 19 May.
Sanjeev Chopra, Principal Secretary, Department of General Administration and Public Grievance has issued the order on 18 May asking the Government employees for observance of the social distancing guidelines, while attending offices.
