BHUBANESWAR: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik was on Thursday congratulated Housing & Urban Development Department after Odisha wins the Fastest Moving State Award in #SwachhSurvekshan2020 and Brahmapur Municipal Corporation for winning Best Medium City in Innovation and Best Practices (3-10 Lakh Population). There is a sustained effort to make our cities cleaner & liveable.

Odisha has bagged two National Awards for the first time in the “Swachh Survekshan”. Housing & Urban Development Department of Government of Odisha has bagged the “Fastest Moving State Award” at the National level and Berhampur Municipal Corporation has received award under “Innovation Award” category.
The award for the State has been received by Minister, Housing & Urban Development Pratap Jena, accompanied by Principal Secretary, H & UD Department G Mathi Vathanan .The award for Berhampur Municipal Corporation was received by the Collector, Ganjam, Commissioner of the Corporation and other officials.
