While asserting that the people of Tirtol in State’s Jagatsinghpur district always stood by Biju Pariwar and Biju Janata Dal, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, who for the first time in his 23 years long political career, addressed a virtual election rally on Wednesday, urged voters to vote for his party candidate to fulfil the dreams of late Bishnu Charan Das. CM urged people to vote in conch symbol.

Chief Minister Patnaik, assuring people of Tirtol to visit them once the COVID-19 situation came to normal, said that development of Jagatsinghpur is always his priority. Patnaik highlighted that State Government has earned praise from WHO for COVID-19 management.

“Late Bishnu Babu used to meet me frequently to steer Tirtol’s development and he was not presence with us,” Patnaik said urging people to vote for his son, who is BJD candidate.  Sources said it was for the first time, Patnaik addressed any political rally virtually.
