BHUBANESWAR: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Thursday launched four citizen centric online services of Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Department, Government of Odisha to deliver government services at the doorstep of people. The online services will be available under www.foododisha.in as part of #5T initiatives to further transform service delivery of the department.
The online services include registration facility for farmers to sell paddy, application for ration card management, new service to deposit license fees and new service for depositing cost for food grains by fair price shops. They will be available under Citizen Services link.
Chief Minister Patnaik also unveiled a book, “Making of a Food Secure Odisha” which chronicles the transformational journey of Food Supplies & Consumer Welfare Department towards #FoodSecureOdisha under the aegis of #5T framework with technology being key enabler of this journey. 5T Secretary VK Pandian was present on this occasion.
