BHUBANESWAR/NEW DELHI: Jindal Steel and Power Limited Chairman and former Lok Sabha MP, Naveen Jindal has wished Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on his birth day on Saturday. Born on Naveen on 16 October 1946 in Cuttack, besides serving as Union Minister, Patnaik is now record serving Chief Minister of Odisha and he is in his 5th term from 2000. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik turned 76 on Saturday.

Chief Minister Patnaik has decided not to celebrate his birthday this year, too, due to the prevailing Covid-19 situation in the state. He said that it will be a great pleasure for him if people instead of visiting his residence, Naveen Nivas, perform great deeds such as helping the families of those who have lost their lives to Covid-19 and donating blood.
