BHUBANESWAR/ANGUL: Jindal Steel and Power Limited Chairman and former Lok Sabha MP , Naveen Jindal paid a visit to JSPL’s Angul integrated plant in Odisha and reviewed operations and various ongoing projects.

Last month, Odisha Government had given its nod to an expansion project of Jindal Steel and Power Limited’s(JSPL) integrated steel plant in Angul from 6 MTPA to 18.6 MTPA, 36 MTPA slurry pipeline and 12.5 MTPA cement plant against an investment of Rs. 76,018 crore with potential employment opportunities for over 24,350 persons in two phases.
After bagging a coal block in Chhattisgarh, JSPL is seriously looking for Chendipada coal blocks in Odisha’s Angul, which will be go for hammer next. Part of $25 Billion O.P Jindal Group, JSPL is an industrial powerhouse with a dominant presence in steel, power, mining and infrastructure sectors.
