BHUBANESWAR/NEW DELHI: Jindal Steel and Power Limited Chairman and former Lok Sabha MP, Naveen Jindal, on Monday led India’s Industry Captains in welcoming Union Budget 2021-22 presented by Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman.

It is a very progressive & development oriented budget focussed towards giving a further impetus towards #AtmaNirbharBharat . It will hopefully create both job opportunities & manufacturing opportunities,” JSPL Chairman Naveen Jindal tweeted @MPNaveenJindal.

“The FM just be commended for #Budget2021 having hit the sweet spot – transparency by way of acknowledging high fiscal deficit along with a calibrated roadmap to come back to normalcy, higher outlays across various sectors with better quality of spending (more capex).consolidation of several regulations into a single securities code, DFI to fund long gestation projects, asset reconstruction + mgmt co to deal with stressed assets, higher FDI in insurance, and no new taxes. Implementation is key but this no doubt is a blockbuster budget!,” IMFA MD Panda added.
Budget2021 has delivered big on headlines with a clear focus on the growth of the physical infrastructure, capital investment, and the money has been put in the right places, said FICCI President Uday Shankar.
