NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Jindal Steel and Power Limited Chairman and 2times former Lok Sabha MP, Naveen Jindal has condole the death of Swami Agnivesh.
“Pained to hear of the demise of Swami Agnivesh ji. He was a kind and affectionate human being who worked hard for the betterment of our society. He will always be remembered for his crusade against bonded labour. Prayers for the departed soul. Om Shanti Folded hands,” JSPL Chairman tweeted@MPNaveenJindal while sharing a photo of the social activist with him and his wife Shallu Jindal, Chairperson, Jindal Foundation.
Swami Agnivesh died after a cardiac arrest Friday evening at the Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences in Delhi. He was 80 years old. Admitted to the hospital on Tuesday, Swami Agnivesh was being treated for liver cirrhosis and had been on ventilator support following multi-organ failure.
