BHUBANESWAR: The Jindal Steel and Power Chairman and former 2times Lok Sabha MP, Naveen Jindal on Saturday addressed the Dharitri OrissaPOST Business Eminence Awards 2022 here, which was inaugurated virtually by Chief Minster Naveen Patnaik.
The JSP Chairman Naveen Jindal highlighted several issues and reiterated his commitment for Odisha’s development. JSP Chairman Naveen Jindal said Odisha is like his home State and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and his Government helped them a lot.
JSP Chairman recalled the days of struggle while setting up the first coal gasification plant in India which would shift focus of consumption of coal for power generation to manufacturing Steel.” During our struggle of 2014-18, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and his Government helped us a lot,” JSP Chairman added.

Earlier, The Dharitri and Odisha Post Editor and former MP, Tathagata Satpathy welcomed the JSP Chairman on arrival.
Prashant Hota , President, Group Head CSR, Education and Sustainability, Head-Odisha Corporate Communications, Jindal Steel & Power and , Convener, CII Odisha CSR ,Skills Panel was accompanied JSP Chairman to the event along with other officials.
Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik also virtually addressed the event and congratulated the winners of Business Excellence Award.
Odisha has received over Rs.4.4 lakh crore investment intent during the last 3 years which would create employment opportunities for over 1.5 lakh people, CM Patnaik said.
“I am sure, Odisha will continue to be the most favoured destination of investors from all across the globe,” he asserted.The Chief Minister said that Odisha has shown a spectacular growth of 10.1 per cent in the fiscal of 2021-22 which is way ahead of national GDP of 8.8 per cent in the same period.
Suresh Chandra Mahapatra IAS Chief Secretary also addressed Dharitri-OrissaPost Business Eminence Awards 2022 ceremony. Several eminent persons were attended the event.
