NEW DE LHI /BHUBANESWAR: While Praying for peace to the departed soul and for strength to the bereaved family in these difficult times, Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan , Pratap Sarangi and BJP National VP-Spokesperson Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda were on Sunday expressed their grief and jolt at the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput was found hanging at his Bandra apartment on Sunday, police said. He was 34.Rajput’s last big screen release was Nitesh Tiwari’s Chhichhore .He has committed suicide at his residence in Bandra. His manager, 28-year-old Disha Salian, ended her life by jumping from a high rise building on June 9.The actor, who became popular with his starring role in the television show Pavitra Rishta made his foray into films with Kai Po Che! in 2013.He has starred in movies such as Shuddh Desi Romance , MS Dhoni: The Untold Story , Raabta , Kedarnath and Sonchiriya.

May Lord Jagannath grant peace to the departed soul,” Petroleum & Natural Gas and Steel Minister Dharmendra Pradhan while describing Mr.Rajput as a talented artist, wrote on Twitter.

Heartfelt condolences to his family,” Union Minister of State for MSME, Animal Husbandry, Dairying and Fisheries, Pratap Chandra Sarangi tweeted.
“Stunned & terribly saddened at the sudden ending to a promising life & career in the movies, at its prime. Cannot imagine what torment this very successful young man must have been in for it to come to this. May his soul rest in peace,” former MP Panda wrote on Twitter.
