Naveen -Dharmendra-Baijayant condoles death of BJP Stalwart Kalyan Singh

BHUBANESWAR/NEW DELHI: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik, Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and BJP National VP in Charge of Assam and Delhi, Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda have condole the death of party stalwart Kalyan Singh, former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister.

“Saddened to hear about the passing away of former Uttar Pradesh CM & former Rajasthan Governor #KalyanSingh. My condolences to the bereaved family members. Om Shanti,” Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik tweeted @Naveen_Odisha.

“सामाजिक न्याय के मसीहा, कल्याण सिंह जी जैसे प्रखर वक्ता व दिग्गज नेता का जाना भाजपा परिवार ही नहीं बल्कि भारतीय राजनीति के लिए एक अपूरणीय क्षति है। दुख की इस घड़ी में मेरी संवेदनाएँ उनके परिवार व समर्थकों के साथ है। ईश्वर उनकी आत्मा को सद्गति दें। ॐ शांति!,” Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan tweeted @dpradhanbjp.

Former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Kalyan Singh died on Saturday in Lucknow due to sepsis and multi-organ failure. He was 89.The senior BJP leader had been undergoing treatment in the intensive care unit of the Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS) in the Uttar Pradesh capital since July 4. On Friday, his condition deteriorated, following which he was placed on dialysis.
