Naveen dedicates projects worth Rs 1500 crore for Sundargarh, Medical College Soon

ROURKELA: While keeping his Government’s pre-poll promises, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Tuesday dedicated different welfare projects worth Rs 1500 crore for the people of Sundargarh district.

 Addressing the gathering at Bhabani field here Patnaik said work for establishment of a medical college in Sundargarh will be taken up soon. 

These projects are related to education, health, communication and electrification in the district. These projects will be funded by district mineral fund (DMF).

The Chief Minister has also inaugurated 41 projects worth Rs 494.43 crore. This apart, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone of 102 projects worth Rs 1032.15 crore.

Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik distributed land pattas to the beneficiaries of forest dwellers under the existing law and provided land to the construction workers under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and Basundhara Scheme.

The Chief Minister conveyed his greetings to the men’s football team of Sundargarh for qualifying for final of SDC Cup 2020.
