BHUBANESWAR: The students of SOS Village here on Sunday got a surprise after Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik visited them and celebrated Diwali with the inmates amid much enthusiasm.
Seemingly happy Naveen distributed sweets and gifts among children. The Chief Minister Patnaik announced a financial assistance of Rs 20 lakh for the SOS Village for development activities.
Chief Secretary Asit Tripathy visited Chetna, an institution of special education, and interacted with the inmates.Personal Secretary to Chief Minister and Secretary of 5T, VK Pandian visited the sports hostel in the premises of Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar and celebrated Diwali with its inmates.
