NUAPADA:Today, on the second day of campaigning, National Vice President and Kendrapara MP Baijayant ‘Jay’ Panda held a hectic road show, roadside rally and public meeting in Nuapada to seek votes for BJP candidate Jai Dholakia and appealed to the people of Nuapada to make him win by a record margin.
This morning, MP Shri Panda left Nuapada city in an open vehicle from Gayatri Mandir Chack and joined a huge road show to Ekta Chack, begging the people of Nuapada to vote for Jai Dholakia. At Ekta Chack, he garlanded the statue of former minister Late Ghaziram Majhi and participated in a ‘Chai Pe Charcha’ program. In this program, party leader Shri Jai Dholakia, Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling, senior BJP leader Basant Panda, District President Kamlesh Dixit, Prasanna Padhi, youth leader Abhinandan Panda and hundreds of prominent workers participated.
After this, a road show was held at the Garden Bandh of Komna Block, after which Shri Panda was taken to the Indike Komna meeting hall in a huge bike procession. Addressing a huge public meeting at Indike Komna, he appealed to the late Raju Bhai Dholakia to realize the dream of a “developed Nuapada” by connecting Nuapada with the double engine government.
Minister Shri Gokula Nanda Mallick joined the meeting and voted in large numbers for the Bharatiya Janata Party in the Nuapada by-election, strengthening the hand of Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi and calling for the overall development of Nuapada.
MLAs Fakir Nayak, Durga Prasanna Nayak, senior leader Basant Panda, district president Kamlesh Dixit, and Prasanna Padhi were prominently present on the occasion.
