BHUBANESWAR: On Wednesday Naba Kishore Nayak, Former VLW-cum-Executive Officer of Erabanga GP, Gop Block, Dist-Puri (Retired), who was charge sheeted by Odisha Vigilance U/s 13(2) r/w 13(1)(c)(d) of Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988/409/420 IPC for misappropriation of Govt. money for his pecuniary benefit without execution of cement concrete road work under Gop Block, was convicted by Hon’ble Special Judge, Vigilance, Bhubaneswar and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of 3 years and to pay fine of Rs.25,000/-
Odisha Vigilance will now move the competent authority for stoppage of pension of Sri Naba Kishore Nayak, Former VLW-cum-Executive Officer of Erabanga GP, Gop Block, Dist-Puri (Retired) following his conviction.
