BHUBANESWAR:  On the occasion of Gandhi Jayanti and Shastri Jayanti Monday, Mother’s Public School, Unit-1, Bhubaneswar proudly hosted the inaugural Diplomatic Fusion Forum (DFF) under the Social Science Department. This landmark event marked a significant milestone in the school’s commitment to fostering global awareness and international cooperation.

The event welcomed esteemed dignitaries from the G20 consultancy, including Ms. Kalyanee Paranjape, Ms. Meenakshi Ajith, and Ms. Shivani Kowadkar. Each of these distinguished consultants shared their invaluable insights on critical global issues and strategies for a harmonious world.

Ms. Kalyanee Paranjape, a renowned expert with a master’s degree in International Affairs from the Graduate Institute, Geneva, and currently serving as a G20 strategy consultant in the G-20 secretariat within the Ministry of External Affairs, emphasised the importance of individual efforts in driving global development. She advocated that competition should evolve into collaboration to achieve world peace.

Ms. Meenakshi Ajith, a graduate in Political Science from Lady Shri Ram College, Delhi University, and another luminary within the G20 secretariat, highlighted the pressing concern of climate and environment for member nations. She stressed the need to strike a balance between economic development and environmental sustainability.

Ms. Shivani Kowadkar, an Economics Graduate from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai, and an alumna of the prestigious Tata Institute of Social Science, Mumbai, also working as a G20 strategy consultant, discussed the urgency of resolving present conflicts and societal strife through peaceful negotiations and fair deals as a means to ensure global peace.

Their presence and inspiring words deeply motivated the young delegates of DFF, reinforcing the school’s commitment to nurturing future leaders in the realm of Global Politics. The event was graced by Ms. Poly Pattnaik, Chairperson of Mother’s Public School, and Vice Principal Ms. Asha TR.

The inaugural ceremony of the Diplomatic Fusion Forum has generated considerable interest among member delegates, students, and faculty members alike. The DFF program is scheduled to culminate on October 10, 2023, within the school premises.
