NUAPADA:Today, the mothers and sisters of Odisha are not just ‘beneficiaries’ in the BJP’s double engine government, but they have become ‘millionaires’. After the formation of the BJP government in the state, as an important decision, a system has been made to provide direct financial assistance of Rs 50,000 to all women through their bank accounts through the Subhadra Yojana and so far 3 installments have been given, which has given them the power to live according to their choice and with dignity.
Similarly, through the Laxpati Didi campaign, the mothers and sisters of the self-help groups have become successful entrepreneurs today, which has given them employment and self-reliance.
Under the BJP government, about 80 thousand beneficiaries of the Nuapada constituency are receiving assistance under the Subhadra Yojana. Now the BJP government has invited new applications for the Subhadra Yojana, which has expanded the scope of assistance to more residents of the Nuapada district. Kalahandi MP Smt. Malvika Devi said that the BJP government is taking strong steps to ensure that no deserving mother and sister is deprived.
Since 2014, the legendary Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has always worked with special attention for the overall development of women and has successfully implemented many welfare schemes. By implementing all the schemes for women, from housing to Ujjwala cylinders to toilets, from bank accounts to business loans, they are not only beneficiaries but they have become the builders of a new Odisha.
In the Prime Minister’s Housing Scheme, priority is being given to allocating pucca houses in the name of women. Similarly, the BJP government has helped the farmers in their economic growth by providing Rs. 3100 per quintal of paddy. Instead of 5 kg of rice, 10 kg of rice is being provided for food security. BJP is committed to women empowerment. Our BJP government is with every mother, sister and daughter of Nuapada and they have become real partners in the development of Nuapada, said Smt. Malvika Devi.
The people of Nuapada have been deceived by the Congress for 45 years and the BJD for 24 years. While the people of Odisha rejected the BJD in the last 2024 general elections, Naveen Patnaik was rejected from the neighboring Kantabanji assembly constituency. On the other hand, the trust in the BJP has increased among the people of Odisha and Nuapada after only 16 months of work. This time, the people of Nuapada will reject both the BJD and the Congress party and will make BJP candidate Jai Dholakia win by voting in large numbers with the Padma symbol, said Mrs. Malvika Devi.
