BHUBANESWAR: As per the latest bulletin of IMD-Bhubaneswar, a few spells of light to moderate rain , thundershower with 1 or 2 spells of intense rainfall likely occur over Bhubaneswar and Cuttack.
Heavy downpour since late night till Tuesday morning, has badly hit Durga Puja fever in Odisha Capital City of Bhubaneswar and well as Cuttack City. Rainfall activity across Odisha is likely to increase due to the low pressure area.
A low pressure area over West-Central Bay of Bengal near Andhra Pradesh coast will oscillate along Andhra coast for two days.Under its influence, light to moderate will continue over Odisha with heavy rainfall at one or two places in the districts of South Odisha on 4th and 5th Oct.22.
Intense moderate spell in coastal districts including Bhubaneswar and Cuttack city since morning will decrease in the afternoon as the cloud mass will move into interior districts and occasional light spells of rain will continue for today and tomorrow.
However, spell wise light to moderate rain will continue over Odisha till 10th or 11th Oct. but rain spell will be occasional at sporadic locations.
