KENDRAPARA: Kendrapara MLA Sashi Bhushan Behera and Local Zone Parishad and District Planning Board member, Jyostnarani Jena were on Saturday joined rest of the district in singing ‘Bande Utkal Janani’ as a mark of respect to COVID-19 warriors.
Both MLA Behera and Zilla Parishad member Jena recited the master piece of Kantakabi Laxmikanta Mohapatra amid general public while maintaining social distancing.
We have joined my Odia brothers and sisters from across the world to convey my gratitude and salute the selfless service of our corona warriors. No words are enough to thank them.The Odia community is grateful and stands in solidarity with these brave hearts working hard to combat Covid19.The world has taken note of India’s people-driven fight against Covid19,” both MLA Behera and Zilla Parishad member Jena said.
Both Behera and Jena thanked Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik for his appeal to 4.5 crore Odias to recite the song in a bid to boost the morale of COVID-19 warriors.
