NEW DELHI/BHUBANESWAR: Union Mines, Coal and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi has hoped that the recently notified Minerals Concession Rules-2021 will boost mineral availability in the Market.
In a series of tweets, Minister Joshi added that these amended rules will help generate huge employment opportunities and boost mineral availability in the market. Minerals Concession Rules, 2021 has been notified by the Union Mines Ministry . It will amend the MCR 2016 and pave the way for:Sale of 50% of mineral produced from captive leases, Easy disposal of OB, waste rocks, Transfer of mines without any charges and Partial surrender of lease.
The Mineral Conservation and Development (Amendment) Rules, 2021 has been notified by Union Mines Ministry on November 3. Changes to MCDR 2017 have been made to facilitate conservation of minerals, boosting scientific mining and protection of environment.
