BHUBANESWAR: Call it Men-in-Khaki Flying High in Odisha and Team DGP Abhay Scores Double Ton in Plasma Donation in the State . Touched by the emotional appeal of Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and his trusted lieutenant 5T Secretary VK Pandian, Odisha Police led by its able DGP, Abhay, a flamboyant IPS officer of 1986 batch of Bihar’s East Champaran, the Men-in-Khaki as on Thursday, scored a double century by donating 200 plasmas. “We are sure to reach triple century soon,” Odisha DGP said.
“Till today, 200 Corona Warriors of Odisha Police have donated plasma at different locations like SCB Medical College and Hospital, Cuttack, IGH, Rourkela, VIMSAR, Burla and M.K.C.G Medical College & Hospital, Berhampur and saved the lives of other critical COVID patients.The Police personnel of the following districts and establishments have donated plasma and made Odisha Police proud,” Odisha DGP said.
OSAP 2nd Bn., Jharsuguda, OSAP 3rd Bn., Koraput, OSAP 3rd SSBN., Gajapati, OSAP 4th Bn., Rourkela, OSAP 6th Bn., Cuttack, OSAP 8th Bn., Chhatrapur, 1, st IR Bn., Koraput, 3 rd IR Bn., Kalinganagar, 4th IR Bn., Deogarh, 5th IR Bn., Boudh, 8th SPL IRBn. Bhanjanagar, Balasore District, Berhampur District, Bhadrak District, Cuttack District, Gajapati District, Ganjam District,Nayagarh District, Puri District, Rourkela District, Sundargarh District, PTS Nayagarh and OISF BBSR have contributed these 200 plasmas.
