BHUBANESWAR: Today on 23rd May 2025 the Cuttack, Bhubaneswar- Cuttack Police Commissionerate in association with the Central Red Cross Blood Center Cuttack, and SCB MCH Cuttack organized a voluntary blood donation camp at Mangalabag PS Campus under Cuttack UPD collecting total 279 units of blood from reformed offenders, police personnel and local citizens.
A unique feature of this camp was the participation of persons who have reformed themselves from their past criminal activities and are now living in the mainstream of society- they have also donated 30 units of blood.
The camp was graced by Sri Khilari Rishikesh, IPS, DCP Cuttack, Addl DCP, Sri Debadatta Kar, OPS-I, Addl DCP, Sri Amarendra Panda, OPS-I, Addl DCP, Sri Kshira Sagar Naik, OPS-I, Addl DCP and other senior officials of Commissionerate Police, who commended the spirit of service and community participation.
This initiative highlights the Commissionerate Police’s commitment to public service beyond policing-promoting compassion, reformation and community engagement.
