NUAPADA: Master Stroke by Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi ahead of Nuapada Bye Elections. CM Majhi on Monday Laid foundation stone and inaugurated 957 New Projects worth over Rs 1100 crore.
CM Majhi announced a total of Rs. 1,100 crore worth of projects for Nuapada district. Under this package, 109 projects worth Rs. 64 crore+ have been inaugurated and 39 projects worth Rs. 159 crore+ have been laid. With utmost priority, projects worth Rs. 802 crore+ have been announced for irrigation alone, in response to the long-standing demands of our farmer brothers and sisters.
For administrative convenience, it has been decided to open sub-registration offices in all the tehsils of the state and in the first phase, this service is being started in Sinapali, Komna and Boden tehsils of Nuapada district from today. I once again assure you that our double engine government is always ready to serve you and my doors are always open for the people of Nuapada, CM Majhi said.
‘I am very happy to be visiting Nuapada district for the second time in the last fortnight. Fulfilling my earlier promise to give priority to the development of Nuapada even though it is far from the state capital, I have come to Nuapada again today. I will personally oversee the development responsibility of this district and will come back frequently if required. Our ‘double engine government’ is committed to harnessing the potential of the ambitious and hardworking people of this region,” he said.
Earlier, the undivided Kalahandi and Nuapada districts were experiencing regional disparities, but now we are giving equal importance to all the regions of the state. I had come to you during the Maraguda festival in April this year and launched projects worth Rs. 320 crore. Today, I have again announced projects worth a total of Rs. 1,100 crore in Nuapada,’ CM Added.
