BHUBANESWAR:BJP is the largest political party in the world and another name for BJP is Vikas. Since the day it formed the government alone in Odisha, BJP has fulfilled most of the promises it made in its resolution. The trust and confidence of the people of the state is increasing day by day in the leadership of the successful Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and the popular Chief Minister Shri Mohan Charan Majhi.
On the other hand, Congress has lost the trust of the country and the people of the state. Congress leaders and workers are starting to turn to BJP. Inspired by the ideology of BJP and expressing faith in the developmental work of the double-engine government in the state, many Congress leaders and workers of Rayagada district have joined BJP today. State President Shri Manmohan Samal and State In-charge Shri Vijay Pal Singh Tomar welcomed all the new members by giving them the party cap and donning the party cap.
Shri Avinash Gamango, who contested as an independent candidate from Koraput parliamentary constituency, joined the BJP surrounded by his supporters at the merger party held at the state office today.
On this occasion, Youth Congress leader Runa Bauri, Karunakar Shabar, Sanjiv Kumar Shabar, senior leader Amar Kumar Shabar, Patrambat Shabar, Murali Shabar, Jalandhar Shabar, senior leader Gayari Shabar, Rashmita Shabar, Bobby Shabar, Harawati Shabar, youth leader Shiv Khila, Babuli Khila, Adarsh Nayak, Moses Patar Nag, Rahul Khila, Bipin Khara, Sushil Guntha, James Khara, Akash Chapadi joined the BJP as key activists.
Today, due to this merger, the party organization is growing in Rayagada district. We will resolve to jointly solve the basic problems of the people and move towards the development of the state and the country, said State President Shri Samal.
State Vice President Shri Ashok Mishra, State General Secretary Shri Biranchi Narayan Tripathi, State Secretary Smt. Smriti Patnaik, Rayagada District In-charge and former MLA Shri K. Narayan Rao, Rayagada District President Shri Gopi Anand were prominently present on this occasion.
