BHUBANESWAR: The 1990 batch IAS officer Manoj Ahuja has been appointed as Chief Secretary by the Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi led BJP Government in Odisha. Mr. Ahuja will take charge after the retirement of the Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena on June 30 this year.
In addition, he will also take charge as Secretary Public Administration and Public Grievances Department.
1990 Batch IAS Shri Ahuja was serving as Union Secretary in the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare. Ahuja was serving in Union Government since 2017 and on request of the State Government, the Central Government had repatriated to the parent cadre.
