JHARSUGUDA/BHUBANESWAR: BJP Odisha unit President Manmohan Samal, who had on Tuesday not allowed to visit to troubled Sambalpur town, on Wednesday targeted Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik alleging complete breakdown of law and order situation in the State.
Addressing a press meet at Jharsuguda, along with Bargarh MP Suresh Pujari and Kalhandi MP, Basant Panda, BJP State President Samal , said that the Government failed to bring normalcy in Sambalpur. Samal also denounced the district administration decision to not allowed BJP delegation to visit Sambalpur. Since last 40 years, illegal beef trading and cattle trading going on without any valid license in Sambalpur town, Samal alleged.
Samal claimed Bandh called by VHP and Bajarang Dal, which was also supported by BJP, got tremendous response from people of western Odisha.
The Government not protecting its Ministers, how could it do the same for general public? Samal also raised a file missing issue of Shree Lord Jagannatha Temple.
Meanwhile, suspension of internet services in Sambalpur town was on Wednesday extended by another 24 hours till 10 AM of Thursday to restraint circulation of provocative messages and averts misapplication of social media.
However, the local administration has decided to resume internet services in some areas of the district. The services will be resumed in, Naktideul, Jujumara, Bamra ,Jamankira Kuchinda and Rairakhol areas.
It may be noted here that Whatsapp, Facebook,Twitter, Instagram and other social media services of all mobile service provider had been shut down since April 13.
Mobile internet data services of all mobile service providers, internet data services of all internet service providers , Broadband dial up system and any other such means or mode of transmission also had been shut down.
