BHUBANESWAR: Odisha BJP State President and along with Party State genera;; secretary (Organisation) , Manas Mohanty on Monday left for New Delhi with probable candidate list of Party for the ensuing Lok Sabha and Assembly polls.
Both Samal and Mohanty will accompany by Vijay Pal Singh Tomar, BJP election in-charge for Odisha and co-in charge Lata Usendi to meet central leaders to finalise the list for Odisha, which has 147 MLAs and 21 Lok Sabha MPs. Basing on various reports and winning possibility, final list of candidates will be declared, sources said.
It’s believed that the candidate lists prepared by State Election Committee will be discussed with Central leaders and by today evening or by tomorrow, BJP may announce its candidate list.
Meanwhile, BJD Supremo and Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik , has convened a meeting to finalise candidate list for Puri Lok Sabha seat and along with Assembly seats in the district, Puri, Brahmagiri, Pipili, Nimapara, Satyabadi. All Puri District BJD MLAs were present at Naveen Nivas along with Rajya Sabha MP Subhashis Khuntia and Puri observer , Minister Ranendra Pratap Swain.
