Manmohan Samal emerges Modi-Shah’s Man Friday, given baton of Odisha once again, Incumbent Samir Mohanty shifted

BHUBANESWAR:  BJP National President JP Nadda on Thursday appointed former Minister and former State president, Manmohan Samal as new Odisha BJP chief replacing incumbent Samir Mohanty. With this Manmohan Samal, emerged as Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Amit Shah’s Man Friday for Odisha ahead of crucial 2024 general and State elections.

BJP General secretary and National Headquaters Pravari, Arun  Singh , said in a press release that BJP National President JP Nadda on Thursday appointed former Minister and former State president, Manmohan Samal as new Odisha BJP chief replacing incumbent Samir Mohanty.

Manmohan Samal, who was also a former Rajya Sabha MP,  played a key role in recently held Dhamnagar byepolls which BJP won convincingly.
