‘The Manipur incident is something very much shameful for any civilized society; the entire country is feeling ashamed due to this. I urge all the Chief Ministers to further strengthen the law and order in their states,’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday.

NEW DELHI:   ‘The Manipur incident is something very much shameful for any civilized society; the entire country is feeling ashamed due to this. I urge all the Chief Ministers to further strengthen the law and order in their states,’ Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Thursday.

“I urge them to take strong steps especially to protect our mothers and sisters.Be it Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, Manipur or any part of the country, maintaining law and order and respecting the women should be put above any political debate,’ PM Modi said

‘What has happened to the daughters of Manipur can never be forgiven.The law with all its might will take one step after another. I assure the countrymen that not even a single culprit will be spared,’ he said while addressing press ahead of Monsoon session of Parliament.
