BHUBANESWAR: Mancheswar PS Case No-47 dtd. 04.02.2024, U/s-20 (b) (ii) (B) NDPS Act , PO -Near SBI Mancheswar Branch, PS- Mancheswar, Bhubaneswar UPD.
Gist of the FIR:
On 04.01.2024 at 02.30 PM, IIC Mancheswar PS received reliable information from a source that one person namely Prasant Das (38), S/o- Kailash Das at Nuagaon, P.S-Jajpur road, Dist-Jajpur, A/p-Palasuni Munda Sahi, P.S-Mancheswar, Dist-Khurdha is standing on the road near SBI Mancheswar Branch, Mancheswar keeping Ganja on his possession in a polythene Jari Bag which is narcotic in nature and is illegally selling the same to the general public as well as outsiders.
On this information, SI Balmiki Kumar Behura along with the raiding team proceeded to the alleged spot and detected Ganja from the exclusive and conscious possession of the accused person. Seized 3kg Ganja from the accused person. On the report of SI Balmiki Kumar Behura, IIC registered the above-noted case and directed SI Niranjan Ojha to take up an investigation of the case.
